About Us

Our Background

Air Pollution is set to be the biggest killer in the UK yet very few schools are actively monitoring the local air pollution in and around the school playgrounds.

We set up The Air Quality Group Limited (TAQG) specifically to deliver small low cost air pollution monitors to schools.

Since 2018 we have been providing the low cost air pollution monitor which has been deployed world wide to accurately measure local air pollutants such PM 10 & 2.5 and O3 and NO2 .

Our Services

We can advise individual school on the deployment of the unit so that accurate localised pollution monitoring can be carried out and linked in to the curriculum by way of lesson plans on pollution and data manipulation.

Ron, our Chairman has 40 years of business experience at the highest level.

He developed TAQG's offering from initial work we have done with a major London Borough.

Lee Pearson

Our Commercial Director, Lee has set up commercial terms with the importation of the AQY devices into the UK.

John Meyer

Our Operations Director, John after studying Environmental Science moved in to transportation with P&O and The Granda Group and Environmental services for Local Authorities with roles including Head of Services in Environmental Departments and City Centre Manger roles.

Stuart Pierce

Our Client Relationship Director, Stuart has worked in Marketing for a leading outsourcing organisation, where he was responsible for supporting a large Public Sector operation. More recently, Stuart has set-up and run a successful recruitment business, which focusses on the education sector and in particular EYFS/KS1/KS2.
